 We want you to be happy with any Hastshilp item you have purchased or received as a gift. If you are not happy with the item for any reason, please return the item in the same condition and original packaging within 30 days and we will be delighted to give you a full refund or exchange (subject to stock availability). If you require a longer return period please contact us before placing your order to discuss this.

At Hastshilp, we pride ourselves on our reputation of selling high-quality products with an exceptional customer experience. Should you not be satisfied with your purchase, please follow the steps below.

Damaged or Faulty Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Contact us by email at hello@hastshilp.co.uk with your order number and details of the issue.

Please note that our rattan, bamboo and cane items are made by hand using natural materials. This means no item will be the same and may have natural markings, varying colouring and “imperfections” in different places, and may also vary in size by up to 2cm.

Returns or Exchanges

If you have changed your mind about the item(s), you may return the item(s) for a refund or exchange. The original shipping cost will not be refunded. Items must be unused and in original condition and repackaged in the original box or repackaged significantly to ensure a safe return. Returning a damaged item may void any refund or exchange. If you wish to exchange your item(s), you will not be refunded the original cost of postage, and will also be charged for the delivery of your new item(s). 

Refunds 

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

How to return your orders

To start the returns process, please send an email to: hello@hastshilp.co.uk with the Subject “Return: (your order number)”. Please note that all items are returned at your own expense, unless they are faulty, and are sent at your own risk so please ensure they are packed carefully. We are not responsible for any items until they arrive safely with us, so we recommend all returns are sent to us via an insured/secure delivery method, or that you at least obtain a Proof of Postage. Hastshilp takes no responsibility in the event of the item(s) failing to reach us or any damage incurred due to insufficient packaging.
